273: The Rings of Power (1+2)
Is Tolkien rolling in his grave? Have modern political sensibilities warped middle earth beyond recognition? This week Miles, James, and David watched the first two episodes of the Rings of Power to find out. Regardless of your reaction to the show itself this episode may help you commit to being watchful for evil at all times and to fight the good fight of faith even as you hope to leave all the evil and pain in this world behind.

I haven’t listened to this PT episode yet, but I have absolutely been loving Rings of Power. Miriel in episodes 3-5 thus far has been my favorite character to watch. She portrays Tolkien’s multiple ideas about her, somehow, all at once. Her fear, her temptations, her faithfulness. Agh!
I am excited to listen to this and more reviews of the tv show!
